The Mission of REPAS is to advocate for the preservation of the rural environment, including dark skies, clean air, clean water and aesthetic landscapes.
REPAS provides rural residents from across Saskatchewan with a unified voice to advocate for the preservation of our rural landscape heritage. It also provides a means for urban citizens to show their support for the rural way of life.
REPAS will be a solutions oriented, pro-active group that will serve its members and the community at large.
The first goal of REPAS will be to advocate for the elimination of the light pollution that will be caused by the exterior lighting design of the Dakota Dunes Casino
opened in August of 2007. This light pollution will impact hundreds of surrounding rural residents.
